1. Scope
This policy applies to direct-mail postcard placements purchased from Mainstay System LLC and to Mainstay Visibility. An inquiry or quote is not a purchase and does not reserve campaign placement.
2. Direct mail: before production
A direct-mail payment is fully refundable before production starts.
3. Direct mail: when production starts
Production starts when the advertiser's business owner electronically signs the final ad proof from their account. Mainstay System LLC records the timestamp and the IP address of the approving business owner as part of the approval record.
After that electronic signature, payments for print, postage, and design are non-refundable. The advertiser is responsible for the accuracy of the content in the approved proof, including names, phone numbers, offers, prices, and license numbers.
4. Direct mail: our errors
If the printed postcard differs from the approved proof because of an error by Mainstay System LLC or its print vendor, the advertiser chooses either a corrected placement in a future drop at no charge or a full refund for that placement.
5. Direct mail: cancellation or decline by Mainstay System LLC
If Mainstay System LLC cancels a drop, the shared postcard does not fill, or Mainstay System LLC declines or blocks the business, the advertiser chooses either a credit toward a future drop or a refund of all amounts not yet spent on that advertiser's ad.
We verify every business before activation. If we can't verify your business, you'll receive a full refund.
6. Mainstay Visibility
Mainstay Visibility is included with the postcard placement at no separate charge, so it carries no separate refund.
If Mainstay System LLC offers a standalone Visibility subscription in the future, it will carry a 30-day money-back guarantee from the first purchase date, available once per business. That subscription is not currently offered.
7. How to request a refund
Send a request through the contact form on this website with your business name, the email used at purchase, and the reason for the request. Mainstay System LLC will respond within 5 business days.
8. Original payment method and timing
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days and issued to the original payment method. Financial institutions may require additional time to post a completed refund after Mainstay System LLC processes it.
